As a healthcare organization, we’re committed to health, and this month, CirrusMD team members have an extra focus on men’s health. For the 7th consecutive year, the CirrusMD team is participating in Movember to raise awareness for men’s health. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer are all being addressed with this year’s Movember movement, and the CirrusMD team is eager to help raise awareness and funds for this worthy cause.
In 2023, the CirrusMD team raised a combined $4,598, surpassing our $4,000 target by $598! Together, the CirrusMD team walked or ran 640 miles according to the Movember site. This year we’ve set a goal of over 700 miles as a team. Ryan Frizzell, Principal Engineer, was the team’s top mover in 2023, logging an impressive 104 miles. The team’s top fundraiser was Tom Klucher, Lead Software Engineer, who raised a significant amount for men’s health. Over the past 6 years the CirrusMD team raised over $22K during Movember to support men’s health and this year, we expect to achieve and raise even more.
The CirrusMD provider network helps men deal with a wide range of health issues every day. Our multi-specialty docs do everything from primary care to family medicine, from urology to helping manage chronic conditions. Recently, we launched integrated Behavioral Health, available to help men deal with the mental health issues that have been especially challenging the past few years.
As we begin the 2024 challenge, we’ve set an ambitious team goal of $6,000. We’re excited to continue our commitment to men’s health and make an even bigger impact in support of this important cause..
Join us in supporting men’s health and stay tuned for more updates on our progress!
