As a telehealth organization, we’re committed to health. And last month, CirrusMD team members took an extra focus on men’s health.
For the 5th consecutive year, the CirrusMD team participated in Movember to raise awareness for men’s health. The CirrusMD team raised a combined $4,877 in 2021, an increase of $1,398 from the previous year’s total. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer were all addressed with this year’s Movember movement and the CirrusMD team was eager to help raise awareness and funds for the worthy cause.
Together the 27 person CirrusMD team walked or ran 1,492 miles in November. Gabe Varela, Chief Technology Officer, was the team’s top mover, logging 390 miles in 30 days. The team’s top fundraiser was Jake Battock, Strategic Operations Manager, who raised $451 for men’s health.
The CirrusMD provider network helps men deal with a wide range of health issues every day. Our multi-specialty docs do everything from primary care to family medicine, from urology to helping manage chronic conditions. Recently, we launched integrated Behavioral Health, available to help men deal with the mental health issues that have been especially challenging the past few years.
